Project 01 · Healthcare analytics
Healthcare & Clinical
Analytics Platform
End-to-End Analytics Engineering & Business Intelligence
A representative analytics solution demonstrating how complex healthcare and clinical data can be transformed into validated analytical models, decision-ready dashboards, and operational monitoring tools.
01 / THE CHALLENGE
The Challenge
Healthcare analytics often involves data distributed across multiple domains—including participant enrollment, clinical characteristics, treatment, testing, site activity and longitudinal follow-up.
The challenge is not simply visualizing this information. Analytical outputs must remain consistent across data sources, business rules must be translated into reliable metrics, incomplete records must be identified, and users need to understand both what the data says and how complete the underlying data is.

02 / MY ROLE
My Role
Analytics Engineering
Designed analytical structures and transformation logic that convert source-level healthcare data into reusable, dashboard-ready datasets.
Business Logic & KPI Design
Translated reporting requirements into consistent definitions for cohorts, enrollment periods, clinical measures, treatment categories, completeness indicators and longitudinal activity.
Data Validation
Investigated missingness, unexpected source behavior, edge cases and discrepancies before exposing analytical metrics to users.
Business Intelligence
Designed enterprise Tableau experiences combining executive KPIs, clinical analytics, operational monitoring and detailed exploratory views.
Analytics Automation
Extended BI workflows using Python, APIs and repeatable processes to reduce manual analytics administration and reporting activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Worked across technical and business teams to move requirements through investigation, modeling, validation, visualization and production delivery.
03 / ANALYTICS ARCHITECTURE
Analytics Architecture
04 / POPULATION & REGISTRY ANALYTICS
Population & Registry Analytics
Provides an executive view of population growth, recent enrollment, site activity, participant characteristics and high-level data completeness.
Rolling-period measures and site comparisons help distinguish long-term registry growth from recent operational performance, while coordinated filters allow users to investigate specific cohorts.
05 / CLINICAL & TREATMENT ANALYTICS
Clinical & Treatment Analytics
Extends the analytical model into clinical characteristics, treatment patterns, testing information and longitudinal outcomes.
Cross-dimensional analysis allows users to move beyond simple counts and examine how treatment patterns vary across clinical groups while simultaneously monitoring the availability of supporting clinical information.
06 / DATA QUALITY & SITE PERFORMANCE
Data Quality & Site Performance
Data completeness is treated as an analytical product rather than only a back-end QA activity.
Domain-level completeness measures, site quality scores and Site × Domain analysis expose where missing information is concentrated and help teams prioritize records or locations requiring follow-up.
07 / LONGITUDINAL MONITORING
Longitudinal & Follow-Up Monitoring
Longitudinal analytics introduces another layer of complexity because each participant can contribute multiple expected and completed observations over time.
The monitoring layer compares expected versus completed activity, identifies overdue follow-up, evaluates site-level completion performance and tracks cohort progression across successive follow-up periods.
08 / ENGINEERING APPROACH
Engineering Approach
- 01
Investigate
Understand source structures, relationships, missingness and unexpected behavior.

11 / CLOSING
From raw healthcare data
to trusted analytics.
“The value of an analytics platform is not simply the dashboard at the end of the pipeline. Reliable decision support depends on understanding the source data, defining consistent analytical logic, validating the results and designing an experience that makes complex information actionable.”
